July 1st Journal Post Week 4 Day 6
The scariest and funnies time (in retrospect), I ever hid from someone, was from a girl named Heather. It is a pretty funny story actually. Heather had sold me an old, beat-up Blazer. We agreed upon a price of around $500 and I thought that was a pretty good deal. I had known her for a while and her husband has been a long time friend of mine. She told me to pay her when I could.
After a while Heather started to joke around( at least that is what I thought) that I could pay off the debt of the car in other ways. I figured she was messing around, until she started stopping by my house while my, now ex, girlfriend was working. It started to become more serious with here advances. She started to call my house when my girlfriend was gone, wanting to talk. She was trying to seduce me in any way possible. Maybe I was not straight enough with her, but one day she stopped by my house. I was upstairs and could hear her car. I saw her getting out of her car all dressed up. I believe she thought she was cashing in on her car payment.
I ran around the house pulling all the blinds down and closing the curtains. She was knocking on the door, calling my name. I was on the side window, not making a sound, what could I say, she was my buddies wife. I could not believe it, she was trying to peep in the window still calling my name. I was standing still hoping she would leave, which seemed like an eternity.
I think she got the message, however she turned around and told her husband a different story, saying I would not pay her. Well she did not want the kind of payment I was willing to give her. Long story short My long time buddy and I are not such good friends anymore.
This post made me laugh a lot, but then again it is kinda sad. You should have taken pictures to prove to your friend what was really going on, but then again you probably weren't thinking about that at the time. My favorite part was when you said "I ran around the house pulling all the blinds down and closing the curtains."
